He was right again...

Day 72 (Sun,  Jan 22, 2012): We were tossed around quite a bit last night. Would not recommend the anchorage at Bold Cay. Far too much surge for a restful sleep. The 3 of us got up early and did some chores before setting out to Nassau. I was the timid one again as the sky looked pretty ominous. Patrick was right. We headed out and observed the clouds with radar. I hate it when he is SO right. Only light rain, not even any wind. We motored most of the way to Nassau but the current helped us most of the way. We made very good time. We arrived in Nassau about 12 noon. Headed down the harbor and to the Nassau Yacht Haven Marina. Not a perfect marina but a good place to stop for the night. I did laundry and we have some connections with a guy down the road who should be able to fabricate the last needed piece for the winlass. Hoping we can get it early tomorrow morning. Also, there is a very nice dive shop adjacent to the marina. Patrick’s regulator problem can be looked at in the morning before we head out. Now the only tricky part… can we get this done and still make it out tomorrow. Patrick is looking at options/anchorages now. Yawn… time for bed.
