Dowry Creek

Day 9 (Mon, Nov 21): Today we crossed the Pamlico and Alligator Rivers. Not too stressful. Had to be careful but not like some of the other more tedious stretches. We stayed at a small marina called Dowry Creek marina in the Pungo River. Very nice facility. Had happy hour in the lobby and met some very interesting people. They have been cruising for several years. Power boaters but they have been everywhere.
