Moorehead City

Day 13 (Fri, Nov 25): Today we headed into the Neuse River and Adams Creek. It was a short day. Saw our first dolphins playing.  Patrick again bonded with Donard at Portside Marina in Moorehead City. His marina is very nice. He had bikes for us to use. We rode them through his massive indoor storage building. It is not only stocked with boats but boy does he have toys... a perfectly preserved red, International Harvester tractor. Reminded me of Joe’s IH farm store when we were growing up. We rode the bikes 36 blocks to return the courtesy car key from the marina at Norfolk. Quite a ride but nice town and beautiful homes. We had a great meal at the Ruddy Duck.
